Program Information

This program will educate providers about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACESs), a type of childhood trauma that deeply impacts the overwhelmingly majority of the patients we serve at Crossing Healthcare, spanning across disciplines.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to do the following:

  • Understand ACEs and implications for the patient population
  • Administer the ACEs screening tool
  • Understand a patient's likelihood of poor health outcomes and increased likelihood of disease based on their ACEs score
  • Educate patients and their families and model treatment to best fit their needs
