After the live Project ECHO Support Models for Addiction Related Treatment (SMART) series concluded, Weitzman Institute and Yale School of Medicine adapted the Project ECHO content into brief, engaging e-learning modules in order to reach a broader audience for free. The five modules contain information on starting buprenorphine during pregnancy, psychiatric comorbidities, trauma-informed approaches, and postpartum care.

Weitzman ECHO Advanced Primary Care connects rural primary care medical and behavioral health providers nationally with a multidisciplinary team of experts to improve the quality of care and clinical outcomes for rural and underserved patients. The ECHO is divided into two modules: (1) adult psychiatry and substance use disorders and (2) prenatal and maternal health to address gaps in care and build skills and confidence in treatment.
