JEDI Certificate Program: Organizational Change Series for Leaders

Program Information

The Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) certificate program is intended for an interdisciplinary team of leaders within FQHCs and other primary care settings committed to implementing organizational change and bringing JEDI principles into practice.

Participation in the certificate program includes access to the 7 module E-Learning series with an option of receiving customized, live, virtual coaching through the enhanced package.

Program Format and Workshops

All program content is provided in an asynchronous format and teams are expected to work together to complete each workshop. This should include setting aside a regular time for the team to meet as a group to complete each module. The following program workshops each take approximately 2 hours to complete.

  1. Establishing a Foundation for a JEDI Framework
  2. Empowering Leaders as Change Agents
  3. Conducting an Inclusive and Equitable Hiring Process
  4. Implementing Strategies to Engage and Retain your Employees
  5. Embedding Accountability into JEDI Policies and Practices
  6. Delivering Culturally Responsive Care to Patients
  7. Putting it all Together: From Implementation to Sustainability

While teams can review the workshops at their own pace, program materials will be available for 8 months. Therefore, you should expect that your team should set aside time to complete about 2 workshops per month over the course of 4 months. This will give your organization enough time to complete and refer back to workshops as needed.

Target Audience

This certificate program is appropriate for leaders within an FQHC or other primary care settings, including executive-level managers, medical directors, human resources administrators, and practice managers.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this certificate program, you will be able to...

  • Describe the significance and benefits of having a robust JEDI-focused organizational culture
  • Analyze metrics to determine opportunities for improvement within organizational JEDI efforts
  • Develop a concrete, actionable plan to implement organizational policies and practices that promote JEDI
