Behavioral Health for Group Supervision (2025-2026): Session 15

Program Information

The Behavioral Health for Group Supervision (2025-2026) activities are designed to focus on developing and expanding clinical and practical skills in the field of social work, counseling, psychology or related fields. Activities are centered on developing or expanding skills in the areas of ethical considerations and guidelines, cultural awareness, implicit bias, mandated reporting, trauma informed and centered practices, etc. Activities are also designed to encourage clinical judgment and self-awareness in order to positively impact populations served.

This activity is for learners participating in the 2025-2026 activities to claim CME/CE credit and download their certificates.

This activity meets on the 1st and 2nd Wednesday of each month from 3-4:30 CST.

  • Behavioral Health providers
  • Other members of the care team

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to do the following:

  • Apply skills learned in supervision and consultation to guide ethical and professional judgement and behavior.
  • Apply self-awareness and self-reflection to manage implicit and explicit biases in working with diverse patients and community partners.
  • Demonstrate empathy self-reflection, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage patients.
  • Apply ethical, inclusive, and culturally responsible practice skills in working with patients and community partners.
