Doug Carr is a board certified family physician who has been in practice in Logan, Ohio for 29 years. He graduated his M.D. from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1992 and completed his residency at Anderson Area Medical Center in Anderson, South Carolina in 1995. In addition to providing direct patient care to his patients in Hopewell Health Centers clinic in Logan, Dr. Carr has served as the Chief Medical Officer for Hopewell, a federally qualified health center serving several counties in southeastern Ohio. He also serves as the medical director for the Hocking County Health Department. His clinical interests include diabetes, dermatology, cancer prevention strategies, and behavioral health. His outside interests include family, choral music, playing bass guitar, and watching old movies.
