Jennifer Hallissey, BBA, Management

Jennifer Hallissey is a seasoned nonprofit executive with more than 20 years of experience advancing community impact through strategic partnerships, fundraising, marketing, and program development. She currently serves as Director, Corporate and Foundation Relations at Children’s Learning Centers of Fairfield County (CLC), where she has spent the past decade supporting programs, fundraising, and marketing efforts. Since 2019, she has served as the organization’s primary grant writer, helping secure critical resources to sustain and grow its mission.
Jennifer’s expertise includes community building, grant writing and making, marketing, volunteer engagement, and board development. She excels at fostering collaborations with corporate partners, agency leaders, and community stakeholders, and has a strong track record of securing funding and implementing effective programs.
Prior to CLC, Jennifer served as Vice President of Education at United Way of Western Connecticut (now United Way of Coastal and Western Connecticut), where she led education initiatives, strategic partnerships, and grant-making efforts. Earlier in her career, she held roles at St. Luke’s LifeWorks (now Inspirica) and United Way in the Kansas City metro area, with responsibilities spanning fundraising, marketing, volunteer management, and program design and management.
Jennifer is currently completing the Professional Fundraising Certificate program at Boston University and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Washburn University. Jennifer’s career reflects a deep commitment to strengthening communities and supporting families through education, collaboration, and innovative nonprofit leadership.
