A native of Chicago, IL, Dr. Thigpen now calls Nashville, TN Home. A board Certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist and Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Thigpen is committed to improving Women's Health for all people that access healthcare. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and Medical Director of the Vanderbilt Birth Center. Dr. Thigpen received his Medical Degree at the University of Michigan Medical School, and has an undergraduate degree in Physics from Fisk University in Nashville, TN. Dr. Thigpen is a member of the Generalist Division at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and practices Full Scope Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is board member for the State of Tennessee March of Dimes. Dr. Thigpen is married (Chrissy) and has 1 daughter and 2 sons.
