Comprehensive School Mental Health in the Wake of COVID-19

Program Information

This year’s conference is presented virtually with both live and on-demand sessions. Live opening session and keynotes begin May 17, 2022 at 1pm. Ten on-demand workshops will be available from May 18-June 7, 2022. Closing session and keynotes will take place live on May 19, 2022 at 12:30 pm.

Target Audience

This activity is appropriate for all involved in school-based health care, including nurse practitioners, physicians, physician assistants, school nurses, dentists, school social workers, psychologists, administrators, and those interested in school health.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to do the following:

  • Examine the evidenced-based knowledge and skills necessary to address selected pediatric physical and mental health problems within the school setting and community
  • Underline the role of school-based health centers in promoting optimum health and development, reducing health inequities, and supporting safe school environments
  • Apply techniques to build resiliency within children, teens, and families in school-based health centers and to support the needs of students in the wake of the pandemic
