Emma Warshauer, MPH, CPH
Emma Warshauer is an Education Program Specialist for the Weitzman Institute. In her role, Emma assists in supporting the growth and expansion of the Weitzman Education’s new training and technical assistance offerings and the development of our national education presence. She works on projects like the JEDI Certification program promotion, the Weitzman Symposium, and the Weight Management in Community Health Learning Collaborative Series. Emma received a Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication with minors in Biomolecular Science and Writing/Publishing from Central Connecticut State University in 2021. She graduated in the spring of 2024 from Sacred Heart University with a Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Community Outreach. Emma holds a Certified in Public Health (CPH) certification from the National Board of Public Health Examiners. Emma previously worked for Hartford Hospital in the neurotrauma/neurosurgery units as a surgical scheduler. Most recently, Emma has been working with the Fairfield CARES Community Coalition researching and analyzing data regarding LGBTQ+ substance misuse in Connecticut. Emma has always been passionate about health and the medical field. Some of her specific interests include mental health, LGBTQ+ health, and health equity. In her spare time, Emma enjoys reading, knitting, and “unplugged” nature walks.
