Dr. Robert P. Griggs, Jr. is a Board-Certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist with over thirty years of clinical experience in private practice and academic medicine. While in private practice Dr. Griggs engaged in the delivery of low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, was credentialed and performed both major and minor abdominal and laparoscopic procedures, and held clinical and teaching privileges at four 

Dr. Griggs currently serves as Director of Obstetrics and Vice-Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Nu Health Medical Center in East Meadow, New York, where he is actively engaged in the training and education of Residents, Medical Students, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Advanced Practice Providers. Dr. Griggs has a special interest in obstetrical and gynecological Ultrasound. 

Dr. Griggs is a former Initial Clinical Experience (ICE) Preceptor, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Donald & Barbara Zucker School of Medicine @ Hofstra University.
