Daisy Goodman, DNP, MPH, CNM, CARN-AP
Daisy Goodman, DNP, MPH, CNM, CARN-AP, is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Geisel School of Medicine, a practicing nurse midwife and Certified Advanced Practice Addiction Nurse with 20 years of frontline engagement in the care of pregnancies complicated by drug and alcohol use. She completed her midwifery certification at Frontier Nursing University, Masters in Public Health at the Dartmouth Institute, and Doctorate in Nursing at the MGH Institute for Health Professions.
Since joining Dartmouth-Health in 2013, Dr. Goodman has worked to build a comprehensive system of care for pregnant and parenting people with substance use disorders, including the development of related curriculum for Ob/Gyn residents. She currently supervises a resident run clinic providing recovery-centered obstetric care in the Ob/Gyn Department, and leads two HRSA funded initiatives, one focused on improving access to high quality reproductive health care for people with SUD, and the second addressing the issue of dwindling maternity care access in rural northern New Hampshire.
