Eric was previously the Chief Medical Officer at Healthfirst Family Care Center in Fall River, MA where he managed 22 clinicians and 90 support staff to serve 14,000 primary care and behavioral health patients. His team has handled over 50,000 patient visits annually and arranged numerous outreach events by working with community partners to improve the overall health of the Fall River community. Eric oversees a $22 million annual budget, representing a 37% increase from 2020. He has consistently delivered exceptional patient care experiences through patient care management, collaborative leadership, patient engagement, and systems optimization.
Eric served as a senior member of the US Naval European medical team with primary accountabilities for the multi-national management of the regulatory and clinical operations organizations and its operating systems/processes and creating regulatory/clinical strategies for new and evolving disease management protocols, devices and pharmaceutical integrations during COVID pandemic response. The team consisted of 72 professionals with a budget of $25M. As lead of clinical operations, Eric oversaw 8 geographically isolated sites on three continents which all met or exceeded international and US government regulations as well as business development objectives, timelines and budgets. Eric championed risk mitigation efforts by monitoring adverse events, ensuring clinical quality assurance protocols and allotted resources were in regulatory compliance, and ultimately reduce cost and minimize exposure risks.
