About this Module

This 1 hour self-paced module equips community health workers (CHWs) with the skills and knowledge needed to conduct home visits safely, effectively, and respectfully. By the end, learners will confidently manage visits, ensuring their own safety while promoting the well-being of their clients.

Module Objectives

  1. Explain the critical role that home visits by community health workers have in improving health care
  2. Implement safety protocols during home visits as a community health worker

Intended Audience

This module is designed for community health workers who are in training or already working in the field.

Module activities include short videos, reflection questions, and other interactive elements. Learners complete the module by reviewing the content and answering the module reflection questions.
