How to Claim Your Credits
- If you haven't already, create a Weitzman Education Platform account. Reference How do I create an account? if needed.
- Select the Register tab in the top navigation bar.
- Select the Continue button.
- Review the instructions provided to enter the number of eligible credits and download your certificate.
You must claim credit and download your certificate by the activity expiration date. For compliance reasons, the Weitzman Institute cannot modify this deadline. If you need any technical support, submit a ticket to our Support Center.
Activity Information
This training serves to meet the following objectives for dental providers:
- Understand the need for general anesthesia services for our patients
- Learn the different models of anesthesia services present in FQHC’s nationally
- Learn about standards of care in anesthesia services in dental settings
- Understand the importance of nutrition education in dental curriculum and CODA standards it fulfills.
- Identify and incorporate the four pillars of nutrition education into the dental curriculum:
- Didactic
- Clinical
- Interprofessional Experiences and Collaboration
- Case-based learning
- Learn how to engage Department of Nutrition or registered dietician as partners in enhancing nutrition in dental curriculum by adding nutrition interns and culinary dentistry into the dental school
- Understanding different Prior Authorization requirements
- Understanding different clinical coverage policies
- Required documentation for various procedures
- Understanding auditing, review and follow up related to claims
