JEDI Certificate Program: Organizational Change Series for Leaders (Future cohort)

Program Information

The Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) certificate program is intended for an interdisciplinary team of 3-5 leaders within FQHCs and other primary care settings committed to implementing organizational change and bringing JEDI principles into practice.

Participation in our pilot cohort includes access to the 7 module E-Learning series and 2 live sessions with an implementation expert. Pilot organizations will benefit from a reduced cost of $2,500/team with the understanding that you will provide feedback about your experience with the program. The standard program fee is $3,000. 

Program Format and Workshops

Leadership teams will complete 2 workshops per month from January - April 2023. All program content is provided in an asynchronous format and teams are expected to work together to complete each workshop in the allotted time frame. This should include setting aside a regular time for the team to meet as a group to complete each module. The following program workshops take approximately 1.5 hours to complete.

  4. Implementing Strategies to Engage and Retain your Employees
  5. Embedding Accountability into JEDI Policies and Practices

  7. Putting it Together: From Implementation to Sustainability

Target Audience

This certificate program is appropriate for leaders within an FQHC or other primary care settings, including executive-level managers, medical directors, human resources administrators, and practice managers.

Upon completion of this certificate program, you will be able to...

  • Describe the significance and benefits of having a robust JEDI-focused organizational culture 
  • Analyze metrics to determine opportunities for improvement within organizational JEDI efforts 
  • Develop a concrete, actionable plan to implement organizational policies and practices that promote JEDI

How to Apply

The lead team member from your organization should complete the following interest form by Monday, December 12, 2022: JEDI Certificate Program Interest Form

Only submit one interest form per organization. Complete the form in one session, as your changes will not be saved until you submit it. This form should take 10-15 minutes to complete. A preview of the interest form is available below. 

Your interest form will help us learn more about your organization’s JEDI efforts, as well as your interest in expanding them. A limited number of applicants will be accepted, and you will be notified about your status by Monday, December 19, 2022.

Karoline Oliveira, Ed.D, is the Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at Community Health Center, Inc. Prior to joining CHC, she served as Interim Executive Director, Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Special Advisor to the President, at Life University in Georgia, where she successfully developed and advanced the university’s DEI strategic agenda. Previously, she was Interim Director of the Multicultural Center at the University of Rhode Island, from which she received her B.S. and M.S. Karoline received her Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership from Johnson & Wales University. She brings to CHC more than 15 years of experience in driving innovation and furthering the vision and mission of organizations through diversity enhancement initiatives.
