The Relationship of Oral and Systemic Health

About this Activity

This course addresses the nature, prevalence, and consequences of oral disease throughout the life cycle with a focus on correlations between oral and systemic health. Clinicians will learn their role in preventing oral disease, addressing frequently encountered oral problems, and working as part of an inter-professional team to promote oral health.

This course takes approximately one hour to complete. Each clinical case takes about 10 minutes.

How to Get Started

  1. Create an account with the Weitzman Education Platform if you haven't already. Reference How do I create an account? if needed. 
  2. Select the Register tab or Continue button to navigate to the pre-test evaluation and information on how to navigate to the module on the Smiles for Life platform. 
  3. After completing the module, be sure to download and save your certificate. You will upload it in the post-module evaluation to certify your completion.
  4. Return to this platform and select the Next button to complete the Post-Module Evaluation. By completing all of these steps, you will become eligible for incentives!
