The Consortium for Advanced Practice Providers will hold its 8th Annual Conference in Denver, CO, and will cover informational sessions related to APP Postgraduate Training topics that are for both new and developing programs as well as for existing programs. Join us for “Collaboration, Support, and Community with the Consortium” over two days to learn how to grow and enhance your APP Postgraduate Training Program.

  1. Describe the foundational principles of competency-based medical education (CBME) and its application in the design and evaluation of postgraduate APP fellowship programs. 
  2. Apply the ACGME core competencies to curriculum development.
  3. Differentiate between assessment and evaluation and utilize tools to measure fellow progress and guide feedback.
  4. Analyze fellowship program metrics to demonstrate program value and inform continuous improvement.
  5. Integrate fellow performance data and program outcomes to support strategic goals, such as workforce development, access to care, and APP engagement.

  1. Describe the key components and structure of an innovative virtual precepting model for new graduate nurse practitioner fellows. 
  2. Identify effective strategies and tools to successfully support preceptors and nurse practitioner fellows in an ever changing healthcare environment. 
  3. Develop an action plan to implement a virtual precepting model or similar technology within participants’ own post graduate training programs.
