Dr. Rekerdres is a board certified adult psychiatrist who is the associate medical director for Pecan Valley Center in Texas. She has dedicated her career to rural community mental health and serious mental illness. Dr. Rekerdres is a adjunct faculty with the University of Texas at Southwestern's rural Psychiatry track. She has served on the National Council for Mental Wellbeing's Medical Director Institute since 2016 and also serves on the scientific advisory council for NAMI.
