Bryan Mendoza-Murillo
Bryan Mendoza is the Manager of Care Coordination at the Child Guidance Center of Southern CT. In this role he supervises a team of case managers and care coordinators to provide integrated services, connects families to medical/financial/legal/social resources, conducts community outreach, and manages referrals. He is the lead chair for the Greater Stamford Collaborative – a monthly joint effort between families and over 20 agencies. His team also provides case management to families qualifying for Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) services. Bryan graduated from the University of Connecticut with a dual-degree in Psychology and English. His concentration was in trauma studies and socially at-risk populations. He deployed soon after and continues to serve as a Military Police Team Leader and Instructor for both domestic and overseas missions. He has received several certifications in military leadership and suicide prevention such as Purple Resolve, ASIST, ACE-SI I & II, Veteran-QPR, American Legion’s Be the One, and VA’s SAVE. Bryan’s other work focuses on advocating for and facilitating the care of LGBTQ+, veteran, and faith-based communities.
