Networking Forum: Leading with Emotional Intelligence to Drive Patient-Centered Care (May 5-6, 2026)

Program Information

The Networking Forum: Leading with Emotional Intelligence to Drive Patient-Centered Care is a 1.5-day learning experience designed to help healthcare leaders strengthen leadership effectiveness, enhance workforce engagement, and advance patient-centered outcomes. Through data review, interactive discussion, case-based learning, and applied practice, participants will examine how leadership behaviors, emotional intelligence, and operational alignment influence staff performance, patient experience, and overall organizational success. Focused on the challenges facing Alabama health centers, the forum will provide practical strategies for applying leadership insight in daily practice. Participants will explore ways to strengthen communication, trust, accountability, and team effectiveness; connect workforce engagement to measurable patient experience outcomes; and address operational, cultural, and system-level factors that affect care delivery. By the end of the forum, participants will leave with practical tools and an actionable plan to better align leadership, workforce, and operations in support of a more engaged workforce and a stronger, more patient-centered system of care.
