Designing Effective Evaluation Structures: Program Evaluation Frameworks

  1. Identify the four evaluation domains of Standard 3 and explain how each contributes to accreditation readiness
  2. Describe the required evaluation tools, processes, and portfolio components for trainee assessment
  3. Develop a comprehensive evaluation timeline that maps all Standard 3 requirements across the program year
  4. Apply self-assessment strategies and outcome measures for continuous program improvement

Operational Excellence in Program Administration

  1. Identify the essential governance, administrative, and support structures required to launch a nurse practitioner residency/fellowship program that is operationally sound and accreditation ready.
  2. Apply an operational excellence checklist to assess you program’s early readiness, distinguishing between foundational requirements that must be in place before program launch and elements that can appropriately mature over time.
  3. Describe how intentional operational systems in the first year support learner safety, program quality, and future accreditation success, even in newly implemented or rapidly scaling programs.

Navigating Funding and Workforce Challenges and Stability

  1. Explore funding models and organizational structures used to support APP postgraduate training programs.
  2. Identify workforce challenges that may impact program implementation, expansion, and sustainability.
  3. Discuss strategies for demonstrating program value to institutional stakeholders and leadership.
  4. Share and apply best practices that promote long-term program stability and success.

  3. On the day of the workshop - After each workshop, select it from the list above. Within each activity, select the Continue tab to complete session evaluations and claim your credits. 
  4. Once you have attended all workshops in which you intend to participate and completed the session evaluations:
    • You can claim credit commensurate with your total attendance for the conference as a whole. 
    • You will then be able to download a certificate appropriate to your credentials.
