Dr. Grace Sun, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, FAANP, is a nationally recognized clinician, educator, and thought leader at the forefront of nurse practitioner (NP) education, healthcare innovation, and artificial intelligence (AI) integration in practice and academia. As Assistant Dean of APRN Programs and Clinical Professor at the University of Texas at Tyler, she leads strategic initiatives to advance graduate nursing education through competency-based education, curriculum transformation, and the integration of emerging technologies.
With extensive experience in curriculum design and advanced practice nursing education, Dr. Sun is widely recognized for her pioneering work in AI and generative AI applications in healthcare education and clinical practice. A sought-after national speaker and author, she has presented at major forums including the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM), the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF), the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and the Consortium of Advanced Practice Providers.
