Kate-Lynd Murphy, LCSW, PMH-C, IMH-E

Kate Murphy, LCSW, PMH-C, IMH-E®, is the Project Director of the Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut’s Early Childhood Therapeutic Partnership, where she leads a 5-year SAMHSA grant focused on expanding preschool-based mental health services, infant and early childhood mental health consultation, comprehensive developmental evaluations, and workforce development initiatives. In this role, she supports behavioral health clinicians across the organization in delivering relationship-based, trauma-informed care to young children and their families.
Kate is an endorsed Infant Mental Health Specialist, certified in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International, rostered in Child-Parent Psychotherapy, and a trainer in the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) framework. Her areas of expertise include infant and early childhood mental health, early childhood trauma, relationship-based treatment, reflective supervision, and reflective consultation within early care and education settings.
