Building Bridges: Bringing Oral Health into Obstetric Care (August 25, 2026)
Program Information
This 1-hour continuing education course bridges the gap between dental and primary care teams to optimize maternal health outcomes. Participants will examine the systemic connection between poor oral health and adverse pregnancy outcomes while reviewing clinical guidelines for safe dental interventions during pregnancy. Additionally, this course features a presentation of an internally developed health center program designed to streamline and improve the cross-referral process and inter-professional communication between medical and dental departments.

- Review a framework for inter-professional referral pathways within a multidisciplinary care team.
