EJP Client Example: Standalone Activity

Program Information

To claim credit, select the Register tab to register for the activity. Then select Continue to proceed to the session evaluation and credit claiming.

  • Standalone activities can be in the following formats:
    • Live Course: an activity planned as an individual event where learner participates in real time (in-person or live-streamed). Examples of a live course are an annual meeting, one-off conference, and webinars.
      • Note: The cost remains the same when offering the same course multiple times at different times/locations (an example of a recurring live course may be found here). Our fee schedule can be found on our CME/CE Accreditation Inquiry Form webpage.
    • Enduring material: an on-demand activity that does not have a specific time/location designated for participation; participants can access the material at any point during the lifespan of the activity (see below for options). Examples of enduring material are online interactive educational modules, recorded presentations, printed materials, and podcasts. 
      • New clients: CME/CEs available up to 1 year before renewal.
      • Returning clients: CME/CEs available up to 3 years before renewal.
  • The Weitzman Institute builds a credit claiming activity similar to this example based on the answers provided on the External Joint Providership Structured Abstract. After the activity has concluded, participants will navigate to this page to claim credit; credit claiming instructions are provided to share with participants. 
    • Credits can be awarded in .25 increments (.25 credits = 15 minutes).
      • Note: If you are providing credits to Social Workers and/or Psychologists, please note that your activity must be a minimum of 1 hour (1.0 credit). 
    • For events with multiple sessions, such as annual meetings or conferences, the credit claiming page will look like this.

    Weitzman Institute Disclosure Statement

    Registration Instructions

    1. Create an account with the Weitzman Education Platform if you haven't already. Reference How do I create an account? if needed.
    2. Select the Register button, then proceed to the Session Evaluation. 
    3. Once you have completed the session evaluation:
      • You can claim credit commensurate with your attendance. 
      • You will then be able to download a certificate appropriate to your credentials. 

    You must claim credit and download your certificate by the activity expiration date. For compliance reasons, the Weitzman Institute cannot modify this deadline. If you need any technical support, submit a ticket to our Support Center. 

    Note: Hosting the session evaluation on the Weitzman Education Platform is not mandatory; if preferred, WI can share the questions required for accreditation so planners can incorporate them into their evaluation instead.
