Kristen Becker, CNM, is a certified nurse-midwife with over 20 years of experience providing midwifery care in New Haven County, including over 10 years in community health. She works at Community Health Center in Meriden, Connecticut where she provides language concordant care in English and Spanish. She is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. She previously practiced in a midwifery-owned practice and in large multi-provider OB/GYN groups. 

Kristen served as a Clinical Instructor at the Yale School of Nursing from 2003 to 2026 and received the Midwifery Teaching Award from residents and medical students at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She is a past President of the Connecticut Chapter of the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) and an active member of the New Haven OB Society and the Menopause Society. After completing her undergraduate studies in anthropology and Spanish at University of Vermont, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Kristen earned her Master of Science in Nursing in Nurse-Midwifery from Yale School of Nursing. 

She lives in Connecticut with her husband. She enjoys gardening, hiking, walking her dog, traveling, and spending time with her three grown sons.
