Thundermist Health Pediatric Psych Didactics: Mood Disorders in Children and Adolescents (May 20, 2027)
Program Information
The Pediatric Psych Didactics for the PMHNP Fellowship at Thundermist are designed to provide post-graduate education for a comprehensive list of necessary topics. The topics include Pediatric Psychiatry introduction, documentation guidelines, ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD, treatment, IEP/540 plans, Neuro-Psych testing interpretation, trauma & PTSD, child welfare & mandatory reporting, autism spectrum disorders, and personality disorders. The purpose of these didactics is to help the PMHNP Fellows develop proficiency in treating the pediatric/adolescent population.
Acknowledgement of Support
The development of these didactics was supported by a $2,750 grant via the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Training Program (ISTP), which is a HRSA-funded grant aimed at training nurse practitioners, physician assistants, psychologists, and social workers to provide mental health and addiction services in underserved, community-based settings.
