Blueprint to Success is an on-demand educational activity designed for healthcare leaders, educators, and administrators who are developing or strengthening postgraduate nurse practitioner and physician associate/assistant residency and fellowship programs. Through recorded sessions from the Consortium for Advanced Practice Providers' 2026 Pre-Conference Workshop, participants explore the progression from program concept to launch, strategies for effective recruitment and selection, and approaches to designing responsive postgraduate training programs aligned with organizational and workforce needs.

The activity provides practical frameworks that participants can use to assess program readiness, strengthen trainee recruitment and selection processes, and develop sustainable program structures that support high-quality postgraduate APP education.

Learning Objectives

Apply a structured approach to planning and developing an APP postgraduate residency or fellowship program from concept through implementation.

Identify and apply strategies to adapt APP postgraduate training programs in response to organizational priorities, workforce needs, and opportunities for program improvement.
