Jenni Lane, BA, MA
For over twenty years, Jenni Lane has worked in the field of healthcare improvement. She has significant experience in performance improvement and program development across the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, bringing innovative concepts to practical application. Lane has co-developed, piloted, and scaled evidence-based models that are now implemented in hundreds of health centers across the U.S. She champions justice-driven approaches, human-centered problem-solving, and adult learning principles to drive change. In her role as Assistant Director of Training and Technical Assistance at the Weitzman Institute at the Moses/Weitzman Health System, Lane supports the development of CME/CE activities and quality improvement initiatives for primary care providers and care teams at Federally Qualified Health Centers and other safety net centers across the U.S. Lane advances evidence-based practices through her training expertise, and she has a sound understanding of the role translational science plays in professional development for healthcare professionals. She has been an author on four peer-reviewed articles and is certified by The Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program) in Social and Behavioral Research.
Most recently, as Senior Program Manager at the University of Michigan Adolescent Health Initiative, Jenni Lane trained and coached over 100 interdisciplinary health center teams on practice improvements and workforce development around issues such as integrated behavioral healthcare, LGBTQ+-affirming care, adolescent-centered care and teen pregnancy prevention, and many other topics. She has received numerous national awards for her work incorporating innovative, positive youth development principles into the healthcare field, including the Partnership Award from the Institute for Patient and Family-Centered Care and the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine’s Millar Innovation award.
