Charisse DelVecchio, PsyD is the Director of Outpatient Services at the Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut (CGC) where she provides therapy and developmental testing services to youth and families. Charisse is a member of the psychology faculty at CGC, providing supervision and training to pre-doctoral psychology interns. Charisse completed her doctorate at Springfield College, where she received specialized training in liberation and counseling psychology. She has previously worked in settings specializing in crisis intervention, in-home recovery counseling, psychological assessment, grief support, and early childhood trauma. Her clinical interests include identity development, interpersonal skill building, family interventions, and neurodivergent affirming care.
