Ashley Couse brings her passion for pregnancy, motherhood, health, and wellness with her to Vanderbilt Birth Center, where she has worked since the center opened in 2015. “I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to be a part of a company that, I believe, is changing maternity and reproductive care for generations to come. I have a strong desire to support families into their journey of parenthood and to help them to sustain a lifestyle of wellness. To me, Vanderbilt Birth Center is the perfect vessel to live out those passions and gives me the opportunity to empower and educate families so they can enter into parenthood with confidence.”

Ashley earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 2007 and then went on to receive her doula, childbirth education, and holistic health coach training and certifications. Surrounded by the love and support of the Vanderbilt Birth Center team, Ashley had her first baby in June 2017. When she isn’t researching all things birth, Ashley enjoys spending time outside, gardening, listening to riveting fiction novels, and sharing delicious meals with family and friends
