Timothy Fisher, MD, MS
Dr. Fisher is an attending physician at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts and a faculty member in the Baystate Ob/Gyn residency program. He is the former Medical Director of the Northern New England Perinatal Quality Improvement Network (NNEPQIN), and an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine.
He received his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School, completed his Ob/Gyn residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego and tours of duty at Naval Hospital Roosevelt Roads Puerto Rico and Naval Hospital Pensacola Florida.
He is a graduate of the Masters of Health Care Delivery Science program, a joint venture between The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice (TDI) and the Tuck School of Business. Dr. Fisher is an alumnus of the Robert Wood Johnson Interdisciplinary Research Leaders Fellowship program where he studied hospital-based labor and delivery unit closure s in the state of New Hampshire,
and the PI of two HRSA funded projects related to maternity care access and obstetric simulation training for EMS professionals
across the rural North Country of New Hampshire and Vermont.
