Corinna Brower, MPH, BSN, RN, NCSN
Corinna Brower (she/her) is the State School Nurse Consultant, working in the Public Health Division of Oregon Health Authority (OHA). She serves as a resource and liaison for nurses, school health teams, and state agency partners. She has been a Registered Nurse since 2006. She worked over a decade in hospital acute care; provided education for nurses and nursing students for five years; and has collaborated with school health teams for 15 years. Prior work includes supporting school Wellness Coordinators to assess and plan improvements, offering classroom lessons tailored to communities, facilitating elementary school peer-to-peer asthma management groups, and mentoring high-school Student Wellness Advocacy Teams. Current work includes providing technical assistance to school nurses and school staff working to improve their school health & nursing models across the state. She brings a passion for culturally-agile, equitable, and evidence-based practice to her work with Oregon school nurses and the students they serve.
