Join CHCI for a two-part hands-on activity session exploring quality improvement in team-based care through the lens of breast cancer screenings. Participants will explore each stage of the improvement process, with a focus on enhancing screening rates, using tools like process maps, fishbone diagrams, and PDSA (Plan-Do-Study-Act) cycles. A quality improvement workbook will be provided, equipping participants with actionable strategies to drive meaningful improvements in patient care.

- Explore a global aim statement using UDS data and practical tools to support screening improvements
Part 2
- Understand quality improvement (QI) principles
- Review a process map and fishbone diagram
- Identify effective solutions and change ideas
- Discuss a clear and specific aim statement
- Explore PDSA cycles
