Brightline: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Anxiety and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
Program Information
Based on common elements across empirically-supported child and adolescent Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (CBT) manuals as well as more recent research on inhibitory learning theory, the CBT for Anxiety and OCD course covers three main interventions: psychoeducation, cognitive techniques, and exposure. The greatest emphasis is on exposure and how to apply exposure with different anxiety disorders as well as exposure and response prevention for OCD. It is intended to be a beginner to intermediate-level introduction to the interventions with concrete examples of how to present strategies in session as well as applications with various case examples.
