
CASBHC Lunch and Learn Series 2025 (December 11, 2025)
Program Information
This presentation is designed to provide an overview of eating disorder symptoms and behaviors, practical assessment tools, and ways to support people who may be struggling. It includes a review of the emotional underpinnings of eating disorder development and maintenance, as well as the impact of weight stigma and diet culture on people struggling with these illnesses.
This activity will meet on December 11, 2025 from 12:00 - 1:30PM ET.

Faculty
Meghan Brown received a bachelor’s degree from The College of William and Mary where she researched body image improvement and eating disorder prevention in college-aged women. She obtained a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University where she trained to work with adolescents and adults in IOP, PHP, residential, and inpatient programs. She has worked in the field of eating disorder treatment and prevention as both a clinician and an educator for more than a decade.
