MASBHC Webinar Series: Get PrEP-ed to Prevent HIV

The webinar series is held monthly between August 2022 and June 2023.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to do the following:

  • Review HIV screening guidelines, distinguish between different types of HIV tests and understand how to interpret and communicate results
  • Define HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), identify appropriate PrEP candidates and medication regimens, and prepare to counsel, initiate and monitor adolescents on PrEP.
  • Examine barriers to PrEP among adolescents and discuss the unique role of School-based Health Centers in ending the HIV epidemic.
