
Introduction to MOUD for Providers (June 6, 2025)
Program Information
The Illinois Primary Health Care Association (IPCHA) is a nonprofit trade association that serves as the voice of and champion for Illinois’ community health centers. This activity is for learners who participated in one or more of the 2023 live events in order to claim CME/CE credit and download their certificate.
This program is designed for prescribers who are now able to prescribe buprenorphine without an X-waiver. This session is will provide important resources to any prescriber interested in or new to providing MOUD treatment. Focus areas of the training include:
- Understanding OUD as a Chronic Illness.
- Screening and Identifying OUD in Patients.
- Integrating OUD Treatment in Your Practice.
- Basics of Initiation of Buprenorphine, Diversion Prevention, Harm Reduction, and Stigma
