Part 2 - Effective Preceptorship: Success through HPET Core Competencies (January 26, 2023)

Program Information

Attracting and retaining top-tier providers through HPET means designing, implementing, and supporting a top-tier educational experience for learners based on core competencies. Instilling core competencies in learners relies on faculty incorporating them into every educational experience. By aligning educational experiences to core competencies and measuring success through milestone achievement, CHCs will ensure the success of their HPET learners.

This activity meets October 27, 2022, January 26, 2023, and a February 2023 date to be determined.

  • Understand Health Professions Education and Training (HPET)  and the application of the principles of adult learning in HPET
  • Understand how to identify HPET program core competencies
  • Understand how to identify and measure the success of learners based on learning milestone achievement
