Step Up Together Focused Action Cycle Autumn 2024 (October 10, 2024)
Program Information
The Focused Action Cycle addresses gaps in emergency preparedness and interprofessional collaboration among perinatal care providers, especially those in community-based settings.
Many providers lack standardized tools and structured processes for conducting effective transfer drills between home births, birth centers, and hospitals. These gaps can lead to delays in recognizing, initiating, and completing transfers during emergencies, potentially compromising maternal and neonatal outcomes.
The Focused Action Cycle offers ready-to-use Drill Kits, training, and debriefing methods, equipping participants with the skills needed to ensure timely and coordinated care, improve communication between teams, and build trust, ultimately enhancing safety and outcomes across care settings.
This activity meets from October - December 2024.
