Thundermist Health Center’s Medication Assisted Treatment Didactics (February 27, 2025)
Program Information
This MAT Didactics series provides post-graduate PMHNP Fellows with in-depth knowledge and skills in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for addiction, building on their foundational understanding to elevate them from novice to proficient in treating MAT patients. Held on Thursdays from November to April, the series offers one credit per session, totaling 19 credits.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to do the following:
- Demonstrate proficiency in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) skills and strategies to support holistic and integrated care for patients within an FQHC setting.
- Implement MAT treatment approaches that contribute to improved patient outcomes, aligning with FQHC goals to enhance comprehensive patient care.
- Collaborate effectively within healthcare teams to optimize the performance and impact of MAT on patient lives, supporting a cohesive and integrated approach to treatment.
- Evaluate the transformative impact of MAT on patient health and apply insights to continuously improve patient care practices.
