Program Information

Increasing Immunizations through Well-Child Visits: School-Based Health Center Learning Collaborative provides a unique opportunity for school-based health centers to learn from both experts and one another in improving their strategies and skills to increase well-child visits and immunizations in children and adolescents. The learning collaborative participants will foster collaboration and networking opportunities, create a cohort of individuals and organizations that can offer continued peer support, and establish relationships for expert technical assistance from SBHA. Participating sites will receive four 90-minute virtual learning sessions. The overall goal of this learning collaborative is to support SBHCs in their efforts to increase well-care visits and immunization rates among their individual school populations.

There is an opportunity to earn a maximum of 6 CME/CE hours - 1.5 credits each for the 4 learning sessions. You may also download a Participation Certificate for the Welcome Session. Please register only if you participate in Cohort 1 and intend to claim credits.

Target Audience

This activity is appropriate for SBHC staff with a strong interest in increasing well-child visits and vaccinations in school-aged youth. Credits are available for:

Learning Objectives

  1. Participants will develop a peer learning network with other participants to guide and support their work in increasing well-child visits and vaccinations in school-aged youth.
  2. Participants will increase their knowledge about strategies for maximizing well-child visits and immunization in SBHCs.
  3. Participants will create and implement a realistic action plan to integrate what they have learned in the Learning Collaborative and apply it to their organizations.
