Program Information

This year’s conference will be returning in-person on May 9, 2023 at The Meeting House in Columbia Maryland. In addition to being offered in-person, all the presentations will be recorded and will be available for attendees two days after the in-person event on this website.

Target Audience

All involved in school-based health care, nurse practitioners, physicians, physician assistants, school nurses, dentists, school social workers, psychologists, administrators, and those interested in school health.

*Professional contact hours will be available for nurses, nurse practitioners, physician’s assistants, physicians, social workers, and behavioral health providers.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this conference, the participants will be able to:

  • Examine the evidenced-based knowledge and skills necessary to address selected pediatric physical and mental health problems within the school setting and community
  • Underline the role of school-based health centers in promoting optimum health and development, reducing health inequities, and supporting safe school environments
