Lisa Budka is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 19 years of healthcare experience. Since 2020, she has been the FNP Residency Program Director at HealthLinc, where she also practices as a PCP and previously served as Site Medical Director.  Her dedication to serving the underserved is rooted in her agricultural upbringing and overcoming teenage motherhood. Her philosophy centers on teaching, nurturing, and developing a servant heart in healthcare. During the pandemic, she provided essential OB care, showcasing her commitment to the community. She earned her ASN/BSN from Purdue University North Central in 2006/2008 and her MSN from Purdue University Calumet in 2012.

She has been part of the FNP residency program since its start in 2016, demonstrating her passion for teaching and professional development. She has served on various internal committees, including Quality Improvement, Site Medical Director, and education committees. Currently, Lisa is on the CME and grassroots committees at the Coalition of Advanced Practice Nurses of Indiana (CAPNI). Her current project focuses on enhancing interdisciplinary collaboration among HealthLinc residencies to improve patient outcomes.
