Join us for a special 4-part Clinical Roundtable series that discusses the evolving role of primary care in delivering comprehensive maternal health services. Learn or refresh your knowledge on key clinical assessments, screenings and risk factors across each trimester and the postpartum period. We’ll also review evidence-based strategies to support maternal physical, mental, and social health needs throughout pregnancy and postpartum.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to do the following:
- Describe the evolving role of primary care in delivering comprehensive, trimester-specific, and postpartum maternal health services, including prevention, screening, referral, and care coordination.
- Identify key clinical assessments, screenings, and risk factors across each trimester and the postpartum period to support early detection and management of maternal health conditions.
- Apply evidence-based strategies to support maternal physical, mental, and social health needs throughout pregnancy and postpartum, including chronic disease management and behavioral health integration.
- Demonstrate effective patient-centered communication and counseling techniques that address anticipatory guidance, health education, and shared decision-making at each stage of pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
- Integrate continuity-of-care practices that promote safe transitions between prenatal, interconception, and postpartum care, with attention to health equity and access to community resources.
