Theo Pinnow is a 28-year-old non-binary MSW student at Southern Connecticut State University, currently working at the Child Guidance Center as a behavioral health intern with the Gender Diversity and Resilience Program. They have worked in various community mental health settings in Connecticut since 2018, supporting adults with dual-diagnoses meet their basic needs and access entitlements while maintaining independence. in 2019, they completed the Recovery Support Specialist certification program and began integrating peer support techniques into their practice. Nearing graduation, Theo's interests are in supporting the transgender community by addressing barriers to gender-affirming care and supporting individuals as they navigate systems for said care.
