Kameren Owens, MSN, FNP-BC
Kameren Owens, FNP has been the Nurse Practitioner Residency Program Director at Santa Rosa Community Health for the last two years. She spearheaded a post-residency Fellowship program where NP Resident graduates complete a year-2 program and specialize in an area of Primary Care. Additionally, she served as a Clinician Lead and Associate Medical Director at Santa Rosa Community Health during the reopening of a clinic lost to fire and continued this for the first year of the COVID19 pandemic. She has been an NP for 18 years, graduating from UCSF and has worked in tribal health, community health and FQHCs in California, Nevada and Hawaii. From 2006 to 2014 she was the Director of Nursing for the Washoe Tribal Health Center in Nevada. Kameren has been a preceptor and mentor to NP students and residents for over 10 years. She completed the UCSF Clinical Education Skills Certificate in 2021 and the UC Irvine Primary Care Psychiatry Fellowship in 2020. Kameren is currently a fellow in the UC Irvine Primary Care Training and Education in Addition Medicine Fellowship and she holds a weekly Medication Assisted Treatment clinic as part of her practice.
