Jesse Fasolo, PhD, MSMSL
Jesse Fasolo serves as Head of Technology Infrastructure and Cybersecurity at St. Joseph’s Health. His core mission is to lead multiple teams of technology innovators who usher the healthcare system through a digital transformation. In this role, Jesse is responsible for developing and implementing the technology strategy to align with the health system’s overall strategic goals by deploying the latest technology to support business operations. As the dedicated Information Security Officer, he leverages his deep knowledge of Information Security Operations, Security Engineering, Identity and Access Management, Cloud Security, Governance, Risk, and Compliance. He oversees multiple teams, including Infrastructure Services, Information Security, Data and Device Integration, Telecommunications Services, Digital Strategy, and Clinical Engineering.
Over his career, his scope of responsibility has typically included technology infrastructure, information systems, information security, project management, vendor management, business continuity/disaster recovery, service delivery, and business strategy. Before joining St. Joseph’s Health, Jesse gained extensive experience in information technology, holding senior roles across finance, legal, and retail industries. He has led organizational-wide digital transformations at each organization that provided strategic accomplishments, massive budget savings, and enhanced business efficiencies.
He actively participates in technology and cybersecurity-related national events, podcasts and is featured in many publications. Additionally, he currently serves as a board member of the Association for Executives in Healthcare Information Technology (AEHIT) under the College of Healthcare Information Executives (CHIME), a board member under the certification body of the IT Management and Leadership Institute (ITML), advisory board member to the Ithaca College Cybersecurity Program, and other customer advisory board positions. He serves as an advisory and contributing author to the Trustworthy Technology and Innovation in Healthcare book series.
He has a bachelor’s degree in information systems and business administration from the Florida Institute of Technology, a master’s in management, Strategy, and Leadership from Michigan State University, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Columbia International University. In addition to his formal education accomplishments, he holds many technical and cybersecurity-focused certifications.
