A highly experienced, industry-recognized, and award-winning cybersecurity executive who possesses more than 20 years of experience establishing first-time enterprise cybersecurity programs, building high-performing teams, driving unprecedented risk awareness, and expertly responding to security incidents and threats to business continuity. In his current role as the Executive CISO at Cyber Point, Vikrant moves Life Sciences enterprises forward with end-to-end security and risk management programs. His previous CISO role was with Hospital for Special Surgery, the largest academic medical center and world leader in musculoskeletal health. Prior to that, he served as a CISO for NYC Health+Hospitals, the largest public healthcare system in the nation.

Vikrant has also served on the Board of the Association for Executives in Healthcare Information Security and Advisory Boards for various cybersecurity companies. He is a featured contributor for Fox News and a prolific speaker, who has delivered keynotes to Gartner, Argyle, Health Impact, and Evanta. Vikrant is also currently co-authoring the Taylor & Francis book, “AI and Cybersecurity Handbook for Healthcare Boards.”

Vikrant earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunications, followed by his Master’s degree in Computer Engineering. In addition to half a dozen industry certifications, in 2018, he earned a Certificate from Harvard University in Cybersecurity. Recognized throughout his journey, Vikrant has been named a two-time Becker’s Healthcare CISO to Know, SC Media CSO of the Year, Gartner Most Valued Professional, and North America Information Security Executive of the Year.
