Anthony Dimartino (they/them) is an Education Specialist at the Weitzman Institute where they oversee the day-to-day program management of the Key Populations, Advanced Primary Care, Complex Integrated Pediatrics, and MAT ECHOs. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Anthony has felt an earnest desire in both their personal life and professional career to advocate for marginalized groups and help reduce the systemic barriers they face. Before joining the Weitzman Institute, they graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in Teaching, and then worked for three years in public education as an English teacher and reading specialist. In their current role, Anthony integrates their classroom teaching background in collaboration with faculty to support the creation of accessible, engaging, and purposeful ECHO programs. While not occupied with work, Anthony can often be found taking care of his handsome cat Jace or hoping to find the motivation to finish writing that one novel they keep putting off.
